The callousness of civic authorities has claimed the life of a five-year-old boy in Gurgaon.
Sandeep Saini, who fell into a manhole in the Palam Vihar area on Wednesday morning, died on Sunday. The boy, who had remained trapped in the drain for about an hour, had slipped into a coma on Friday.
"Sandeep, a student of Atul Kataria Public School, was on his way to board the school bus around 8.30 am on Wednesday," a senior police officer said.
