Introduction

In our national perception education is essential for all. This fundamental to our all around development. material and spirituals. Education has been acculturating role. It refines sensitivities and perceptions that contributes to national cohesion, a scientific temper and independence of mind and spirit. Thus furthering the goals of socialism, secularism and democracy enshrined in our constitution. Thus

  • Education develops man power for different levels of economy.
  • It is also the substrate on which research and development flourish being the ultimate guarantee of national self-reliance.
  • Education is unique investment in the present and future. This cardinal principle is the key to the national policy on education.
  • The concept of national system of education implies that all students irrespective of caste, creed, location of sex have access to education of a comparable quality, up to a level.

General Objectives

Education liberates human beings from shackles of initiative social and misery. It must also lead to a non-violent and non exploitative social acquire, knowledge develop understanding and in calculate skills, positive attitude, value and habits conductive to all round development of their personality. Young girls and boys are to be empower though education to increase their capability.

AIM

The national system of education is based on national curricular framework which contains a common core along with the other components that are flexible. The common core will include the history of India's freedom movement, the constitutional obligations and other contents essentials to nurture national identity. These elements will cut across subject areas and will be designed to promote values such as India's common cultural heritage, e.g. egalitarianism, democracy and secularism, equality of sex, protection of environment removal of social barriers, observance of small family norm are inoculation of scientific temper.

Minimum levels of learning will be laid down for each stage of education. Education will provide equal opportunity to all not in access, but also in the condition of success.

Keeping the above facts in mind the Haryana Govt. has formulated its own new education policy 2000, which high lights as under:

  • 100% enrolment of children by 2003 :

    For Primary Education,  age group  of 6-14 years.
    For Secondary Education,age group of 11-18 years.
  • Universalization of elementary education.
  • Elimination of disparities in education among different social and economic groups.
  • Retention of girls students.
  • Decentralization of education administration.
  • Increased allocation of budget education
    (from 2.1% ofstate GDP to 6.00% of the state GDP)
  • Vocational education.
  • Introduction of English from class-I
  • Introduction of Information Technology Education (Computer Education)
    in both Urban and Rural Area Schools.
  • Rural service and Training of teachers.
  • Quality improvement.
  • Optimum utilization of infrastructures.
  • Reforms in management skills.
  • Value education
  • Primary Education in two phases:
    Class I -II : Learning of mother tongue and other regional languages.
    Class III-V :Learning of other subjects Mathematics, Environment Studies.

SPORTS EDUCATION

1. The general information course training camp of scouts master guides Captain has been held 06-06-2001 to 08-06- 2001.

2. District physical teacher refresh course has been held on 11-06-2001 to 13-06-01. in which all the teachers have been taught different rules &different techniques by trained instructors.

3. Red cross camp has been held on 18-06-2001 to 20-06-2001 in which teachers gained all the knowledge of Red Cross rules and they were also taught new techniques of first aid by trained officers.

4. They learnt how to save from fire. They have been taught many things e.g. rules & regulations of society love to every one, the inspiration of sacrifice and to serve all the country. Every teacher has learnt a lot from this courses. This course has been proved very beneficial to all of them.
